Dr. Kathy Haynie

Kathy Haynie is the Director of Haynie Research and Evaluation, specializing in STEM educational evaluation and research with an emphasis on K-16 computer science education, science education, math education, educational assessment, and STEM classroom implementation. 
She started Haynie Research and Evaluation in 2002; prior to that, she worked for Educational Testing Service for nearly a decade. She has taught courses at Rutgers University, San Jose State University, and Dominican College. Dr. Haynie received her Ph.D. in educational psychology from Stanford University, her M.Ed. in educational statistics and measurement from Rutgers University, and her B.A. in mathematics and music from Oberlin College. She has 30+ years of experience in educational research and evaluation.

Dr. Jennifer Albert (since January 2015)
 
Jennifer Albert received her Ph.D. in Science Education from North Carolina State University and has an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Austin Peay State University. She also specializes in STEM educational evaluation and research with an emphasis on K-16 computer science education, science education, educational assessment, and STEM classroom implementation. She has worked on several grants specializing in broadening participation of underrepresented minorities, particularly in rural schools. She taught high school science and both undergrad and graduate courses in Science Education (Instructional Technology, Research Methods, etc.), helping to convert the science education Master's program to be completely online. She is currently Director of The STEM Center of Excellence at The Citadel.

Dr. Hetal Thukral (since January 2017)
Dr. Thukral is an expert in research and evaluation, and has conducted extensive literature reviews, collected and analyzed data, and presented results of State-, district-, school- and group-level analyses to a variety of stakeholders.  Her understanding and use of advanced quantitative methods is broad, and includes descriptive analyses, regression analyses and Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM).  She works daily with large datasets and is able to write technical and general papers to a wide range of audiences. Dr. Thukral has over 11 years of experience in designing, implementing and evaluating international and domestic programs and surveys. Dr. Thukral serves as the Senior Technical Advisor for School to School International.  She previously served as the Harvard Strategic Data Fellow with the Strategic Data Project at Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) in Maryland. Prior to joining the HCPSS, Dr. Thukral was a Program Manager with Education Development Center (EDC) as the implementing partner for USAID-funded education projects. She has experience working on projects in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Guyana, as well as domestically with State and Local Education agencies. Her education background includes a Masters in International Education and a PhD in Education Policy at the University of Maryland College Park, with a Special Certificate in Measurement and Statistics.  She is also an expert in SPSS and in data visualization software, and is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati

Dr. Sheryl Packman (October 2011-February 2017)

Dr. Packman is the President of Gator Analytics. Since 2001, Sheryl has provided research, evaluation, and psychometric consulting services to a variety of companies in the educational and sports fields. Her expertise is in assessment design for summative, formative, and psychological purposes, item analysis, designing and conducting research studies, quantitative and qualitative data analyses, report-writing, survey development, grant writing, program evaluation, and project management. Before becoming a full-time consultant in 2011, Sheryl worked at the College Board and contributed to the AP®, SAT®, PSAT/NMSQT®, CLEP®, and ACCUPLACER® testing programs. Sheryl received her Ph.D. in educational psychology and M.S.Ed. in counseling psychology from Fordham University, and her B.S. in psychology from University of Florida. She is an active member of the American Educational Research Association and the National Council on Measurement in Education.
